Marus // Semiconductor physics, quantum electronics & optoelectronics. - 2013. - Vol. 16, № 2. - С. 194-197. - Режим доступу: http://nbuv.gov.ua/UJRN/MSMW_2013_16_2_19 The behaviour and causes of changes for correlated color temperature (CCT) and radiant spectral power in white LED modules of different design at their encapsulation by optical compounds are investigated. It is shown that CCT of original white LED radiation can both decrease and increase after polymeric covering application. The CCT variation direction is determined mainly by primary lens presence on LED. The variation value of color parameters of white LED modules is determined by created optical surface curvature and spectral characteristics of deposited polymer.

Pershukevich // Semiconductor physics, quantum electronics & optoelectronics. - 2013. - Vol. 16, № 2. - С. 198-200. - Режим доступу: http://nbuv.gov.ua/UJRN/MSMW_2013_16_2_20 A comparative analysis of the characteristics of heat-conducting plastic was performed. The results of the thermal measurements of two of the same type 3W LED modules installed on heat sink with the same area of heat-dissipating surface made of aluminum and heat-conducting polymer have been presented. It has been shown that the overheating of LED module mounted on the heat-conducting polymer heat sink is <$E2~-~3~symbol Р roman C> higher than that on the aluminum heat sink (thermal conductivity is 20 times higher). The ranges of applicability of the heat-conducting plastics in LED technology have been determined.

The optical layout of lighting fixture was developed. The mathematical model that can be used to calculate the optical and geometrical parameters of extra narrow-angle spotlight have been developed. The two actual samples with output lens with the diameters 50 and 100 mm were developed and tested. The results of computer simulation and actual testing the spotlight samples were compared.
